A Silly Sick Dog

Have you ever observed a street dog properly? I suppose no. Most humans don’t have the time to either look at a street dog or care about it. Well, Tenzin had enough time to recognize the smell of one silly, sick street dog.

Every day Tenzin woke up around seven in the morning to the sound of his alarm. After he turned the alarm off, he laid thinking about how he should start the day. He always tried starting his day with a positive mind. Still lying on the bed, he told himself, “I will learn something today. I will not waste the day.” After saying that, he carried his morning essentials and walked to the toilet. When he came closer to the toilet he could recognize a familiar stench. It was not a pleasant one. His thought of starting the day positively was spoiled by this unpleasant smell. He knew who caused this stench. His face had gone red in anger. He looked around and found a wooden plank nearby. He took it and entered the toilet. He looked around all the toilet doors of the hostel. There was one door open. He quickly ran towards it and banged the plank on the door. It made a very loud noise that the four legged stench causer was shaken and ran out with fear. It was a sick street dog. Tenzin’s day was spoiled.

The sick street dog had chosen the hostel toilet as its best place to rest overnight. Tenzin kept wondering what he should do to stop this street dog entering his favorite place. Every day he closed the toilet door thinking the dog would not be able to enter during the night. But early morning due to carelessness of his hostel friends, at least one toilet door remained open every morning. This gave opportunity to the dog to enter the toilet every night.

This continued almost every day. One day, Tenzin gave up caring about the stench and was accustomed to it. He thought for himself, “Why should I care when others are not. The dog is such a headstrong, I should be one too.”
