A Student's Morning Speech

Good morning and Tashi Delek to all present here.

Today, I am going to speak on just three things that I feel is important. There is nothing new in this speech. But yes, it will for sure remind you of your responsibilities in this world.

First, start your day with a positive vibe: The world is a wonderful place. If you try to observe it you will understand. His Holiness rightly said that when you talk you are only repeating what you already know; but when you listen, you may learn something new. When you wake up, listen to the sounds of nature early in the morning. If you hear birds chirping and few or no human voices; then have no doubts, you woke up early. If you hear loud noises of people; then it is certain, you woke up late. So observe the nature for few minutes and then be happy that you are born alive.

Second, always give a real gentle smile when you come across someone: Do you like to see a serious or angry face early morning. No. Seeing a serious or dull face early in the morning spoils the day. Dear friends you must all be tired of seeing some of your Siblings or Parents giving you a serious look. But don’t worry they have many reasons to do that. But you don’t forget to smile when you come across someone. It will make them and you happy. Smile calms your heart and it  will make you happy.

Third, help the needy people: It is believed that humans by nature are kind. But due to different experiences and exposures in their life, humans change their nature. When you help someone who is unknown they will be thankful and do the same with others. There are people who don’t help but, don’t worry about them. Before pointing your finger at others and complain, ask yourself, am I perfect? Am I helping others?

Before I conclude, I want you all to repeat after me these three sentences.
I am a human being. I am going to learn something today. I am strong.

Now, I want you all to do something to show you are human being. Look at the person standing next to you and give him an attractive smile.

Thank you all.
